4 FastTrack ways to start your day

A little pre-planning can go a long way. Cook or prepare breakfast in large batches so it is an easy grab and go option if you’re a busy bee or simply want to enjoy less time in the kitchen during the week. If it’s a sunny morning, grab your breakfast, and sit outside to soak up the sunshine and fresh air. Below are top 4 things we like to start our day!

  1. Apple cider vinegar
    1. Start each day with fermented apple cider vinegar, a dash (capful or tablespoon), with hot water and add a teaspoon of honey if you like. 15-30 minutes before you eat!
    2. Apple cider vinegar has shown to help lower blood sugar level responses after each meal and can also aid in gut bacteria health and digestion.
  2. Nutritious breakfast
    1. Overnight oats or chia puddings are our favs!
    2. Mix with plant-based milk at night before bed and leave it in the fridge till the morning, top with seasonal fruit and it will be good to go! Excellent source of antioxidants, minerals, and fiber. Also, will help manage blood sugar regulation so we can maintain our energy throughout the day!
  3. Drink water!
    1. Increase your water intake. Drink up to 1 litre before midday, anything after that is bonus and a really great way to ensure you are getting most your water intake each day.
  4. Meaningful movement
    1. Whether it’s a quick walk around the block with the kids, dancing to your favorite song or stretching. Getting your body moving is one of the best ways to nourish and nurture you on all levels.
